La Folie Kilomètre

France

La Folie Kilomètre is a dynamic collective based in Marseille, founded in 2011, that brings together artists from performing arts, visual arts, and regional planning. Their work explores the ways we inhabit, shape, and imagine landscapes and society. The collective creates participatory, site-specific performances and installations that blend fiction and documentary, visual and sound art, and artistic exploration. Their interventions, whether monumental or intimate, engage audiences in experiences that are as much about the journey as the destination.

Beatrice Guyot, a member of La Folie Kilomètre, participated in the Erasmus+ project Working in LANDscapes, attending training weeks in Slovakia and Norway. Through this collaboration, she engaged with fellow artists to deepen her practice in site-responsive work, furthering the collective’s commitment to creating art that resonates with and reflects the landscapes it inhabits.
