Erasmus+ backs Working in LANDscapes

We’re thrilled to announce that Erasmus+ has awarded funding to Working in LANDscapes, our brand new two-year project connecting artists, cultural organisations and land stewards across Europe. Scoring an impressive 91 points, the project has secured €128,958 to make it happen.

Coordinated by Learning Hub Friesland (NL), Working in LANDscapes brings together Oerol (NL), Activate Performing Arts (UK), Le Citron Jaune / Ilotopie (FR), Aktívny Park Rajec (SK) and Bodø2024 (NO). Together, we’re launching a programme of two artist training weeks — one in Slovakia, one in Norway — plus partner meetings in the UK, the Netherlands and France, with livestreamed moments and aftermovies to share the experience more widely.

The project is all about making art in and with landscapes — from the Wadden Sea to the Beskids mountains, from the Camargue delta to the Arctic coast. It’s about sharing practice, building skills and testing ideas that are rooted in context, ecology and community. And after the isolation of the pandemic, it’s also about reconnecting: with place, with people, and with each other.
